Hi Mum. Lovely to hear from you. I'm pleased all is well at home albeit a bit cooler than here. Andrew was checking out the tempertures for when we go to Rome - it was 35 degrees at 8pm at night - we might be wishing for abit of your cooler weather :). Paris is lovely - I really love the feel of the place and could happily stay quite a while. I could definitely see Andrew and I coming back another day. Take care. Love Wendy xxx

Hi Tash - Andrew and I have already said that we would love to come back to Paris. I'm not sure if we could afford to live here though :). We went on a Fat Tire Bike Tour of Versailles yesterday. It was great fun - biked all around the ground - lunch down at the far end of the lake looking back at the Palace - just beautiful. Not so beautiful was standing in line for an hour to get into the Palace. You can imagine the girls ... After a full day biking standing around in the sun at 3.30pm for an hour .... Not the best!!! Then into the Palace with hundreds of other people :) :). Haven't tried snails or frogs legs yet .... Maybe we are running out of time for that :). Oh yeah - NO to the dress!! Love that you like it though xxxxxx
Mike Devlin: Hi Andrew, Wendy, Grace and Kate. 1pm your time on your last whole day in Paris - I see on Facebook that you have been out and about - including the Eiffel Tower and Versailles Palace and Gardens. Notre Dame looks amazing - pity about the 284 steps. I wont mention some of the other places, as the French spelling is a bit of a challenge with those accents. Nice new hat Kate, I cant quite make out what it says - loved the Los Angeles one and then the Paris one. I see that you are all off to Rome tomorrow - are you flying (2 hours), or on the train (9 hours) - it looks a long way on the map. Not much news from NZ. Travel safely, Mike.
Hi Mike, The last 2 days have been busy - Versailles was quite special but a very long day. Eiffel Tower is great and you do get a primo view of the city. We're home having lunch and regrouping before heading off to the Louvre which is only 15 minutes walk away. Plane to Rome tomorrow - super warm down there at the moment !
